Does it work with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop?
The integration targets QuickBooks Online. If you are still on QuickBooks Desktop, it is worth knowing that Intuit has been retiring Desktop versions on a rolling schedule — Desktop 2023 was discontinued after May 31, 2026, and 2024 is the final release — so most small shops are moving to Online regardless. Check your specific version against Intuit's discontinuation policy.
Do I still need my accountant?
Yes, and nothing about their workflow changes. QuickBooks remains the book of record. The sync only removes the manual step of copying jobs and invoices into it.
Will it create duplicate customers in QuickBooks?
